B(R)IPV ARCHITECTURE

At CRE Green Consulting, architect Hill will design your sustainable house using special green techniques such as Building/Road Integrated Photovoltaics (BIPV/RIPV), Net-Zero etc. Our team will find solutions for our clients with zero-emission as well as zero-energy consumption. BIPV will help one save money on utilities and reduce or eliminate one’s carbon footprint.

Our BIPV solar system is an integrated system that revolutionizes the conventional power generation with de-icing & snow-melting function on our panels. Instead of attaching photovoltaic solar panels to a roof, our BIPV system acts as a solar shingle.  A full BIPV system includes air/water type heat collectors, solar railings, a solar carport, a solar driveway & walkway, and an off-grid battery bank with an EV charging system.  We call them BIPV Shingles, BIPV Collectors, BIPV Railings, BIPV Carports, B(R)IPV Driveways& Walkways and BIPV Chargers respectively.  We have a full demonstration of the above principles at our local BIPV living lab with which is monitored by UBCO.

Here’s how:

BIPV Shingles for Roof, Shed/Canopy work with BIPV panels connected to inverters. They are aesthetically appealing and produce electricity in the same way as PV panels.  They can work with PV panels or BIPV railings at the same time under the Net-Metering program.  Not only are these panels providing you with electricity, but they also protect your roof as they act as a shingle. They also have a built-in snow resistant function and will melt 80% of the snow on the panels during wintertime.  4 x 88w/100w-glass panels will connect to one branch of YC600-CA inverter which will be connected to the main panel in the house.  These systems can also be fully customized and designed for the clients’ needs.

BIPV Railings work with BIPV glass panels connected to inverters.  They produce electricity in the same way as PV panels but on a smaller scale, and they can work with PV panels or BIPV panels at the same time under the Net-Metering program. 8 x 50w-glass panels or 4 x 100w-glass panels will connect to one branch of YC600-CA inverter which will be connected to the main panel in the house.  These systems can also be fully customized and designed for the clients’ needs.

B(R)IPV Driveway and Walkway:  CRE solar solutions use a combination of the latest science in heat storage material and high-efficiency solar cells to offer a variety of strengthened, walkable, and drivable solar modules.

 

A reliable system

All electricity generating and carrying portions of our modules are encapsulated in a strengthened and watertight layer, which is supported by a sturdy back-layer.  Connections to the rest of the system are made with solar industry standards-based waterproof connections.

Our modules have undergone extensive testing in all weather conditions for safety, durability, longevity, and anti-slip properties. As a result, our technology has proven safe for long-term public installations applications, and to-date we have received the approval of electrical engineers and inspectors.  With the ease of installation in mind, solar earth amber solar modules are designed to be easily mounted either on top of any current infrastructure, using a securely anchored interface layer, or while pouring a new concrete path.  They have a built-in snow resistant function and will melt 90% of the snow on road panels during wintertime. RIPV solutions are continuing to lead the industry in driving forward with worldwide industry standards. Its water-based solar road can generate power& heat in summer and generate power& de-icing in winter.
